Yin and yang. One cannot exist without the other; a symbol of duality that is seen everywhere in nature and within ourselves. Light cannot be known without darkness, the dynamic opposing interlaced forces that represent harmony and balance. Serenity and turmoil coexisting as complements to each other often reflecting the equilibrium we desire.
